Healthy U Fitness Coach 

Coach Jay is a United States Army Veteran and a recent graduate from Kutztown University with a dual major in Business Management and Marketing with a Minor in Supply Chain & Logistics. 

He started his fitness journey when he enlisted in the Army after battling years of low self-esteem due to bullying in high school. Here, Jay learned mental toughness, grew confidence and self-discipline and was able to lose 45 lbs. 

After years of training soldiers, he learned that mental toughness is key, that your mind is stronger than your body. He approaches fitness as a life-long behavior/mental modification where we have continuous improvement. The more you can control your thoughts, the more obstacles you can overcome in your life. He has an extensive background from training collegiate and amateur athletes to professionals with nominal experience in fitness.
